Question 1

What is a low speed vehicle (LSV) and how is it different from a golf cart?

Accepted Answer

A low speed vehicle is a four-wheel vehicle with a top speed between 20 and 25 mph that is equipped for on-road use with headlights, tail and brake lights, turn signals, mirrors, a windshield, seat belts and a 17-digit VIN. A standard golf cart is limited to roughly 15 mph and is not built for public roads. Every Sierra LSV model is produced to LSV specification so it can be titled and registered where local law permits.

Question 2

What is included as standard equipment on a Sierra LSV?

Accepted Answer

Sierra vehicles ship fully loaded rather than as a base platform with add-ons. Standard equipment includes a touchscreen infotainment display, a rear backup camera, a wireless phone charging pad, a lockable dash storage compartment, automotive-style seating, lithium power and a full street-legal lighting package.

Question 3

How far can a Sierra LSV travel on one charge?

Accepted Answer

Real-world range depends on battery capacity, passenger load, tire size, terrain and driving style. Typical neighborhood use returns a full day of errands, school runs and beach trips between charges. Model pages list the battery configuration and estimated range for each AX series vehicle.

Question 4

How do I become an authorized Sierra LSV dealer?

Accepted Answer

Sierra LSV works with vetted powersports, golf car and marine dealers. Submit a dealer application through the Become a Dealer page and our team will review territory availability, service capability and floor plan requirements before onboarding.

Question 5

Where can I register my vehicle warranty?

Accepted Answer

Warranty registration is completed online using the vehicle VIN and proof of delivery. Registration activates factory coverage and links your vehicle to the Sierra LSV parts and service network.
